Role Description:

Buildots is looking for a passionate construction professional to join our global marketing team as Market Development Manager.

If you are a construction Project Manager who wants to join a rapidly growing construction tech startup on our journey to changing the way we build, this might be your opportunity.

As a Market Development Manager at Buildots, you will keep a close eye on the market to ensure the right messages are delivered to the right people. You will be responsible for shaping Buildots' marketing initiatives to establish the company as a thought leader in the construction industry.

The ideal candidate should have a thorough understanding of construction project management methods and processes, experience with large residential or commercial projects, and be passionate about driving change


Key Responsibilities:

  • Use your knowledge and experience to drive business growth by enabling marketing and sales.
  • Thought leadership across various channels
  • Conduct research and market monitoring, including studying the competition, trends, macroeconomic conditions, and regulations
  • Work closely with our content team to deliver valuable and meaningful content assets that drive our prospects to take action.
  • Ensure marketing communications and marketing assets are aligned with our audience
  • Turn complex topics into compelling content.
  • Be a key stakeholder for shaping Buildots messaging and positioning.
  • Represent Buildots at tradeshows, conferences, webinars


Requirements:

  • An experienced and passionate construction professional with 5 years of experience
  • Previous experience as a project manager, site manager (or equivalent) at large residential or commercial projects
  • BIM/VDC experience - advantage
  • Understand the challenges and pains construction companies face along the project life cycle
  • Have a sound understanding of technology and innovation
  • Able to put the finger on a problem and match the right solution to it
  • Ability to convey complicated ideas in an easy-to-understand manner
  • Skilled at delivering presentations
  • Opinionated and vocal
  • Self-starter who is also a good team player
